Health Organization (WHO) - The World Health Organization
is the United Nations specialized agency for health. It was established
on 7 April 1948. WHO's objective, as set out in its Constitution,
is the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of
health. Health is defined in WHO's Constitution as a state of complete
physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence
of disease or infirmity. Medical information, research articles,

for Disease Control (CDC) - CDC serves as the national
focus for developing and applying disease prevention and control,
environmental health, and health promotion and education activities
designed to improve the health of the people of the United States.

Institutes of Health (NIH) - Maintained by the U.S.
Department of Health & Human Services, this site is the entry
way for a vast electronic collection of health related information.
